We tried.. 1. changing password. 2. to recreate profile. 3. reinstall MS Outlook 4. Check the internet connections (Users are still able to receive and send emails). All seems to be in vain. The prompt still pops up. This can happen if you turned on two-step verification on your Microsoft account. SOLUTION. If two-step verification was enabled for the account, you'll need to create an App Password to add the account in Outlook or To do this: Go to the Security Basics page and sign in to your Microsoft account.
