We have been running Mastercam versions X8 and later extensively on the newly released Windows 10 and have not seen any issues to date. Processor The processor speed will affect how much the software will calculate and complete tasks.
More and more aspects of Mastercam are becoming multi-core processor aware with each release. Toolpath calculation and Simulation will generally run faster with a multi-core processor. Memory When Mastercam uses all available RAM it switches to using virtual memory space, which is stored on the hard drive and dramatically slows down the system. Other graphics cards can be used, but they must offer full OpenGL 3. We do not recommend or support the use of onboard graphics found with some PC configurations.
